We talked about the characteristics of elephants, where they live, and how they protect themselves from other animals and from the sun. Then they did their first activity and colored an elephant.
Our second activity was making our very own elephant ears. This is Gabi working on hers.

Then they put on their elephant ears and watched a video clip about elephants. They were very interested in the video clip and asked all sorts of different questions like- are they heavy? are they mean? etc.
And then we watched a 2 min video clip from Tarzan showing elephants in Africa.
They looked very cute in their elephant ears
And they looked even more cute when they were acting like elephants.

George during snack time. Today we had chocolate cake and ice cream.
Their two activities turned out great.

We missed Blake today, who is in Utah. Have a great time Blake.
