I is for... Ice Skates

 

 First we watched 3 Ice Skating clips. They were fascinated. Then we talked about their uniforms and where they practice and perform.

 Working on their ice cream activity

 George named his ice cream "The Vampire ice cream"

 Gabi named hers "The Sleepy Orange Strawberry"

 Sam named his "The Sam Ice cream"

 Then we watched 3 video clips on how to make ice cream and we ate cookies and cream ice cream. Caleb also finished working on his ice cream activity and named it "The ice cream maker ice cream".

I is for... Igloo

 First we watched a short clip on how igloos are made, where you can find them, and who lives in them. They were fascinated. 

 Then they made their own igloos. The white paper squares were the blocks of snow and the glue was the ice. They worked hard and the igloos turned out great.

 Then we watched a little clip about shapes and identified the different shapes

 Then they worked on sorting out the different shapes. They sorted them all correctly, what a smart group of kids.

Paisley, Miles, and Boston got an award today- all for different reasons. They did great and worked really hard. We had a fun morning.
