Blake kept saying "I want to be a good boy, Mrs. Bateman" and he really was. So he got an award :).

 McKell loved the fishing game. She was very focused and determined and would smile every time she caught a fish.

 Playground fun. I taught Gabi how to swing herself and she did awesome. It was the first time she didn't ask to be pushed :).

Today we worked on tracing numbers 1-10 and worked on letter C. Then we played a fruit memory game. We reviewed their names and where we can find them. Then the students practiced their motor skills by using one of the fruits from the memory game. We sewed yarn around the paper fruit. They did a great job. Blake absolutely loved the activity. We then went to the playground, had chocolate milk, played, and at the end I read them a story. We then came back and had singing time, snack time, dancing time, and playtime. We had a great morning. We missed George and Caleb!

Sawyer was the captain of the ship and Blake and Gabi were his helpers. They laughed, ran, had to hide from pirates, and went fishing. 

Gabi got an award today for doing a good job cleaning up. She picked up 23 toys :).

Paisley joined the Tuesday group and did amazing. She is such a smart girl. Sawyer and Boston were very kind to her and helped her when she needed it. However, she was able to keep up with the boys! She was so excited to be around them and giggled when they would do silly things. Sawyer and Boston are good buddies, they work hard and have so much fun playing together. We missed Miles today and hope he is having a great time in Utah!

 Sawyer, Boston, and Paisley working with numbers and shapes. We reviewed 6 shapes and their names. We then counted how many beans fit in each shape. Once we had all of the numbers we decided which one could fit the largest amount of beans and the shape that could fit the least amount of beans. Sawyer and Boston then worked on a matching activity. They matched a certain number of objects to their written form. The numbers were all out of order, which shows they were able to recognize  numbers. Paisley worked on counting different kinds of fruits that were out of order too. They did great!

 Paisley, Boston, and Sawyer loved their dance class. Boston would keep saying "I'm a good dancer" and would smile really big. They had a blast!

 Paisley loves the swings. She would giggle and say "Push me, push me more!"

 Boston loved his chocolate milk :).

 Boston and Sawyer loved the swings too. 

 Paisley drank her entire chocolate milk before the two boys were done with theirs. She said "Chocolate milk goooooood" :).

 Boston loved "One, Two, Buckle My Shoe!" He was having a great time.

 Paisley worked on many different things, played many different games, and played with many different toys during playtime. But she had to take her barbie with her everywhere :). 

Sawyer and Boston loved fishing today during playtime. They took turns and had fun.

Today we practiced drawing different sized circles, and then we counted how many black beans fit in each circle. By the time students start Kindergarten, they need to be able to count, compare different sized shapes, and be able to draw shapes. So we started working on that this week. Next time they come we will continue tracing letters, and will do letter C. They also went to the playground, had playtime, snacks singing time, and dancing time. Gabi also worked on her hand project. She traced her hand then counted how many fingers she has and then practiced writing numbers 1-10. 

If you want to practice any of these things at home with them, it would be very helpful :). Writing numbers 1-10, drawing circles, and counting. 

We missed Caleb today, who was feeling sick. We look forward to seeing him on Wednesday!

We had a great morning and are now done with our second week of Preschool :).

Blake, George, and Sawyer danced and sang "The wheels on the bus" with the buses they made.

 George learned 3 new colors in Spanish today :).

 Sawyer has been learning how to hold the pencil the right way. He did a great job today!

 Sawyer, George, and Blake traced their hands, counted how many fingers they have, and then learned how to write numbers 1-10. They are great at counting, and are now learning how to write the numbers. 

 George performed his "puppet show" during playtime and it was a big hit! :)

 Dr. Blake cured everyone during playtime :).

We finished off the morning with a movie and some popcorn!
